Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a strong administrator to work within the Department for Education, based in Darlington. This full-time position involves interacting with external customers, performing tasks such as taking calls and resolving queries, and providing efficient customer-focused support.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills while working on exciting projects in the Public Sector. As an Admin Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating effectively with external customers (local authorities and schools)
- Providing high-quality support to data providers and partners
- Collecting and processing complex survey returns, analyzing errors in returned data
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to problem-solve and remain resilient under pressure
