Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Be Caring. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live happy and fulfilling lives within their local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence, choice, and autonomy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless and high-quality service delivery, adhering to Be Caring's values and principles.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in person-centered care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a person-centered care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a passion for delivering high-quality person-centered care.
