Job Title: Band 6 Professional Development Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team of community nursing professionals. As a Band 6 Professional Development Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and developing the skills and knowledge of our community nursing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred care for a caseload of patients
  • Undertake venepuncture, wound care, catheterisation, syringe drivers, end-of-life care, and symptom control
  • Work under the direction of a District Nurse to develop and implement care plans
  • Collaborate with local teams, including GPs, Practice Nurses, and social care professionals
  • Use electronic clinical records and mobile devices to support patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Experience in community nursing or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
