Job Summary:

Weir is seeking a highly experienced and strategic talent development professional to lead our global talent and leadership development initiatives. As the Global Talent Development Strategist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Global Talent Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive global talent strategy that aligns with Weir's business objectives.
  • Talent and Leadership Development Programs: Design, deliver, and evaluate leadership development programs tailored to various levels of leadership within the organization.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent management, leadership development, and organizational development.
  • Talent Frameworks, Tools, and Resources: Oversee best practice talent frameworks, tools, and resources to support talent development initiatives.
  • Succession Planning: Partner with HR and senior leadership to ensure active succession plans are in place for key roles.
  • Performance Management: Ensure that Weir's performance management philosophy and approach successfully develops and maintains a high-performance culture.
  • Governance Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of talent and leadership development programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and gain buy-in for talent development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering outcomes in talent development, leadership development, and organizational development in a global business.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership: Inspiring and leading others to ensure high levels of team engagement, inclusion, and successful delivery of shared goals.
