About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Assessment Officer to join our team at Tempex Recruitment Ltd.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing Housing Benefit claims, including exempt accommodation, to ensure compliance with housing benefit subsidy rules.

A good understanding of eligible rent, service charges, and company accounts is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess Housing Benefit claims, including exempt accommodation
  • Ensure compliance with housing benefit subsidy rules
  • Utilize Civica Open Revenues and D360 software
  • Communicate complex matters effectively to staff and customers

Requirements:

  • Experience in financial assessment services
  • Good understanding of eligible rent, service charges, and company accounts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Estimated Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum
