HR Advisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Ledingham Chalmers LLP. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and retention of top talent, as well as providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including advertising roles and screening candidates.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate and complete personnel records electronically and within the HR management system.
  • Coordinate the trainee and internship recruitment process, working closely with line and functional managers.
  • Provide HR support, including sickness absence and holiday requests, payroll administration, and recording and analysing HR data and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role, with a strong understanding of current and emerging general HR practices, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • IT proficiency, including familiarity with an HR database and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
