Aptia Group, a leading player in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled GMP Project Coordinator Specialist to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to expand their career in project coordination.

Located in the UK, this position will involve working on key projects across a diverse client base. As a GMP Project Coordinator Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that processes are well managed within the wider GMP Project team.

This includes being the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on all queries, maintaining overall project planning, identifying other scheme projects, and aligning tasks and dates.

This role is aligned with an Aptia Office in the UK and offers a hybrid-working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend kick-off planning calls to agree project scope, provide feedback on budgets, and flag potential scope exceedances or out-of-scope work
  • Confirm requirements, budget allocation, tracking, and timescales
  • Regularly review and maintain budget trackers to ensure accurate time recording and awareness of progress against GMP project admin budgets
  • Communicate potential changes to project timescales at an early stage with relevant team members, stakeholders, and clients or Trustees
  • Arrange planning calls for work phases, including handover calls between separate teams as work is moved across separate tasks
  • Maintain basic project plans for each scheme under your control from an Admin perspective with additional project notes to ensure relevant information is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage communications between parties (internal or external) and ensure projects move through the process
  • Assist resource management teams to schedule projects within the overall department
  • Work alongside data teams and system implementation teams to provide support where necessary

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of GMP and DB pensions schemes and legislation is essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Organized, able to plan and prioritize under pressure
  • Good basic project management skills
  • Strong systems knowledge, especially MS Word and Excel

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
