About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our Logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring safety, performance, and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor safety, performance, and compliance tasks within the Logistics team.
  • Support the safe receipt, handling, distribution, and collection of goods to/from customers/suppliers in accordance with legal and company requirements.
  • Lead labour planning requirements for the department and ensure effective time management to deliver daily activities.
  • Take a lead role in the delivery of workplace audits and support the 'Safety First' message.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational excellence and compliance to all systems, including safe systems of work.
  • Ensure agency management is first-class, including timesheet collation and payroll systems.
  • Support the Despatch department's order fill, cost, and efficiency KPIs by making best use of the company WMS and route planning systems.
  • Address service and stock issues promptly and escalate as required.
  • Provide management cover for the FLM in their absence and demonstrate the ability and willingness to develop skills and knowledge required to progress in their career.
