Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join our team at Northreach. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing logistical and supply chain activities at our manufacturing centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Oversight
    • Manage all supply chain and logistics service providers to ensure they meet agreed service levels.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and service providers to select and oversee suppliers and vendors.
  • Logistics and Warehouse Management
    • Develop and implement supply chain and warehouse systems to ensure timely supply, storage, picking, and shipping of materials and products.
    • Implement effective scheduling and planning tools to support increased material movements and collaborator companies.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Establish and enforce chain of custody procedures to ensure GMP compliance.
    • Work with internal teams and external supply chain operations to implement best practices and operational improvements.
  • Industry Leadership
    • Participate in and lead external and national supply chain initiatives to advance the UK Cell & Gene Therapy industry.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Management experience in a GMP biopharmaceutical warehouse/inventory management environment.
    • Experience managing supply chain/logistic operations.
    • Proficiency in operating multiple supply chain/logistic systems supporting a GMP warehouse/supply chain operation.
  • Skills
    • Proven experience in writing and reviewing GMP documents.
    • Demonstrated ability to critically assess and improve work practices and procedures.
    • Experience interacting with regulatory authorities and clients.
