About the Position:

We are seeking an Administrative Services Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all administrative functions, including HR, finance, facilities, and procurement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to get involved with projects, and any ad hoc work. They will also be responsible for reviewing budgets, providing guidance and advice to non-financial staff members, and ensuring all company health and safety files are monitored correctly.

Duties:

  • Oversee all administrative functions, including HR, finance, facilities, and procurement
  • Manage payroll processes, personnel files, absences, and sick leave
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, ensure all invoices are reconciled correctly, and control the company cash flow
  • Ensure all company health and safety files are monitored correctly and liaise with governors, parents, teachers, and local authority representatives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, payroll, and finance administration
  • A background as a Business Manager, Operational Manager, Office Manager, Finance Manager, or similar
  • The ability to lead and run weekly and monthly meetings with senior directors, shareholders, and the leadership team
  • A proven track record of delivering operational management, support services, and leading on the development of school policies and procedures
