Adult Mental Health Support Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults experiencing mental health crises. As a Adult Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be working in a unique and safe cafe-styled environment, providing holistic support and guidance to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within adult mental health, with a proven track record of working effectively within a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be liaising with external agencies and reporting concerns to relevant personnel.
A full driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles are also required, as well as the ability to demonstrate assertive qualities and commitment to equality of opportunity.
Responsibilities:- To work in conjunction with managers and other key agencies in developing policy and associated practice that meet the combined needs of the client group.
- To provide individual and bespoke support, information, signposting, and access to appropriate services for those wishing to access the crisis hub.
- To support clients in identifying individual needs and coping strategies, and to help provide a supportive and safe environment as an alternative to contacting emergency services or attending A&E.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)
