E-Commerce Integration Manager

The E-Commerce Integration Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of APIs with our system, providing technical and business analysis to guarantee desired results. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API design, including REST, JSON, and OAuth principles, and be comfortable working with databases and web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and troubleshoot APIs for data retrieval and service offering.
  • Track API performance metrics and improve stability, scalability, and availability.
  • Project Management:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute API-related projects from inception to completion.
    • Collaborate with vendors to integrate their systems with our system.
  • Error Handling and Reconciliation:
    • Resolve payment-related errors, including transaction processing, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation.
    • Implement error-handling mechanisms and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
    • Proven track record of managing web services.
    • Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce back-end interfaces is strongly preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP, XML/JSON, web security, authentication/authorization protocols.
    • Good understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
    • Experience in partnering with front-end developers and designers on the development of backend services in support of them.
    • Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, etc.).
    • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or related experience.
