Families need supportive networks to thrive. As a Family Support Worker for Children with Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, you will help create this network by building strong relationships with families and children. Working in the Family Help Service, you will contribute to positive outcomes and empower children to live at home whenever possible.

You will benefit from small teams, regular supervision, and a manageable caseload that allows you to focus on relationships and strengths. Our Family Help model is built on systemic practice and ensures that families receive consistent, high-quality support.

We seek qualified Social Work Practitioners with experience and a passion for making a difference in children's lives. Essential qualifications include a social work qualification with Social Work England membership and completion of the ASYE Year. We also expect excellent communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to understanding the needs of children and young people.

Our comprehensive training offer includes Systemic Training, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Practice. In addition to competitive salary (£51,127 per year), we provide 40 days annual leave, flexible working, and a generous pension plan. A £5,000 welcome bonus is also available upon joining.
