About the Team

The Family Help Service is part of Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, working to provide high-quality social care services to families in Wandsworth, London. As a Social Worker in this role, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Job Description:

This role involves working with families to understand their needs, develop family-led plans, and provide ongoing support. You will work closely with other professionals, including education and health services, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Requirements:

  • A Social work qualification with Social Work England membership and completion of ASYE Year.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Compassionate understanding of children's and young people's needs.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and creativity in supporting children and families.
  • Access to excellent training offer for Social Workers, including Systemic Training, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Practice, and reflective spaces.

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £51,127 per annum (subject to experience), plus benefits including a £5,000 welcome bonus* and £1,000 retention bonus (every 2 years of service), payment of Social Work England registration fee, and more. View our Children's Services offer here.
