Academics Ltd is seeking a talented and compassionate mental health professional to join our team as a School Mental Health Assistant.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to creating a safe and inclusive space for students to thrive.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or about to graduate in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Practice, looking to gain experience working with children who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Collaborating with experienced professionals to develop strategies for student success
  • Contributing to creating a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Practice
  • Experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A competitive salary of £29,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
