Swan Family Centres Limited is seeking a skilled Children and Family Services Coordinator to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and their families, providing a vital service within our Children and Family Contact Centre and out in the community.

We require an individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people, and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and escorting children and young people, undertaking and observing supervised contact, and risk managing to safeguard children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and escort children and young people.
  • Undertake and observe supervised contact for children and their families.
  • Risk manage and intervene as necessary to safeguard children.
  • Have good report writing skills to factually describe observations within the contact session within the agreed timeframe.
  • Attend and participate in planning meetings or reviews, as required.
  • Prioritise safeguarding and identify and respond to levels of risk.
  • Attend supervision and training courses in relation to the tasks, as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a calm and approachable nature, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deal with challenging situations and resolve conflicts. A good understanding of safeguarding measures is also essential.

Requirements:

  • You must hold a minimum level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • A current DBS for working with adults and children - we can assist you.
