The Role

As a Senior Supplier Manager, you will report directly to the Team Lead for IT Supplier Management. This exciting opportunity within the refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team will give you the chance to be part of a global team and contribute to innovative projects across RWE's businesses, including Renewables, Energy Trading, and more.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key IT vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Lead change projects and implement process improvements to enhance operational governance and vendor management.
  • Define and implement operational governance structures, ensuring compliance with defined policies and procedures.
  • Monitor vendor performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to capture and understand current and future demand, ensuring efficient contract management throughout the life cycle.
  • Work closely with Procurement Category Teams to develop and define sourcing strategies, ensuring performance is constantly evaluated and re-assessed.
  • Collaborate with team members, delegate tasks when needed, and support team members' development.

Your Profile

  • Deep experience in supplier management and procurement practices.
  • Relevant IT/OT supply market knowledge and the ability to stay up-to-date with current trends and threats.
  • Good knowledge of financial principles and the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
  • High flexibility, willingness to travel, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
