We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Cover Supervisor at our Secondary School in the Worksop area. This full-time, long-term position commencing in January 2025 presents an opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Job Summary:

This role requires an experienced educator to manage student behaviour, deliver lessons, and provide support in accordance with school policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure effective classroom management and adherence to school policies.
  2. Deliver high-quality lessons to students when teachers are absent.
  3. Communicate clearly and concisely with students, providing them with a thorough understanding of work set and learning objectives.
  4. Offer individualised support and guidance to students as required.
  5. Collect students' work at the end of each lesson and submit it to relevant staff members.
  6. Identify and report any safeguarding concerns to designated personnel.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a school environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A current DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people.
Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
