Financial Systems Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Specialist to join our team at Connect Fibre. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our financial and procurement systems, with a primary focus on Sage Intacct.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Sage Intacct or a similar financial ERP system, with hands-on experience in configuration, reporting, and administration. They will also possess solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, including cost tracking and budget management.

In this role, you will oversee system administration, reporting, and configuration, ensuring seamless integration of procurement and finance processes. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting project-related costs within the system, providing essential insights to support financial decision-making and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary administrator for Sage Intacct, ensuring the system is configured, maintained, and optimised for financial and procurement workflows.
  • Manage user permissions, troubleshoot system issues, and liaise with external Sage Intacct support as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and lead implementation projects.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Sage Intacct or a similar financial ERP system, with hands-on experience in configuration, reporting, and administration.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, including cost tracking and budget management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £33,500 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, private medical cover, and group pension contribution at 5%.
