Energetic Education Specialist

Job Type: Temporary (January - Easter/Summer)

  • Salary: £162.31 - £182.94 per day
  • Location: Ormskirk

We are seeking a dedicated teacher to join a small, supportive school in rural Ormskirk. This role is set to start in January and will run through to at least Easter, with a high possibility of extending until the summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan engaging lessons for a mixed-age class of 6 pupils, catering to individual needs.
  • Manage a classroom environment focusing on nurturing and educational excellence.
  • Assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with support staff to provide necessary resources for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in school activities and contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Experience working with children who have special educational needs.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
