About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues, providing support and care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective patient transport operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license and a good understanding of road safety.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
  • Enhanced DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable adults.
