We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient transport services to our community, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
- Assist patients with lifting, securing, and transferring them in and out of the ambulance, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide a high-quality patient transport service, adhering to our company's values and standards.
- Hold a full UK driving license and have a good degree of physical fitness.
- Be committed to patient care and have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work flexible shifts, including early starts, late finishes, and night shifts.
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check and have a natural flair for team working and collaboration.
