Job Summary

We're looking for a Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes and in the community. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of hoists and slings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, including engaging in activities and conversations
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience in health and social care, preferably in a care assistant or support worker roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleaguesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hoursBasic knowledge of health and safety procedures, including infection control and manual handling
