Job Details

Health Your Way is seeking a caring and organised individual to fill the role of Personal Care Assistant. This position involves providing assistance with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, washing hair, and dressing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support with use and care of equipment
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Offer flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the individual
  • Participate in charity work, such as supporting the air ambulance

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.80, rising to £12.30 once competent
  • Nights (9.00pm – 8.00am) paid at £11.44 per hour
  • Pension eligibility
  • 5.6 weeks per year pro rata annual leave
  • Full certificated training on all aspects of the role

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check, cost met by the Employer
  • Flexibility in working hours essential
  • Ability to work over a four-week rota

Working Hours

  • A minimum of 20 hours per week
