Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, providing high-quality primary care services to offenders in a secure environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, prison staff, and other stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive range of healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and deliver healthcare services tailored to the unique needs of each patient, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination.
- Support junior colleagues and contribute to the development of a specialist practice-based clinical model of patient care, promoting evidence-based practice and research.
- Participate in managerial and professional clinical supervision, training, and annual appraisal to maintain expertise and ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Maintain effective systems for triage, referral, and monitoring of quality and effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring seamless care pathways for patients.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Leads, GPs, and other clinicians to meet and review service needs, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.

Requirements
- Professional Qualification in RGN/RMN
- Experience of multi-professional collaboration, including working in partnership with statutory and voluntary organizations
- Experience of setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care
- Experience of working within secure environments or prison settings
- Working knowledge of current issues and agendas facing prison/offender healthcare
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, presenting ideas with clarity in a persuasive and influential style
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of change management and new ways of working
