About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Uro-Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team in Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to take on a new challenge and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients with urological cancers.



Key Responsibilities




  • To provide nursing support and advice to patients with urological cancers, from diagnosis through to treatment and follow-up care
  • To work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways for patients
  • To develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge in uro-oncology, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centred care
  • To contribute to the education and training of junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and guidelines that enhance patient care


Person Specification



The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in urology or oncology, with a strong commitment to patient-centred care and a passion for delivering high-quality care. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
