Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech Automation. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our cutting-edge laboratory robotic and automation equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for our products, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical & Automation Engineering and R&D teams to develop current machines and design new machines with a focus on electrical design.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and bills of materials.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Electrical Design and/or Electrical Design Engineering expertise.
  • 4+ years of experience in Electrical Design role, preferably in industry machinery within a technical environment.
  • Strong design package skills, ideally with SolidWorks Electrical design capabilities.
  • Knowledge of PLC / PAC software development.
