Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating Ex certified components into industrial materials handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate Ex certified components into industrial equipment
  • Ensure designs meet ATEX, Ex, and IEC Ex safety standards
  • Develop detailed electrical system designs and enclosure layouts using AutoCAD
  • Address electrical and mechanical system integration within space-constrained environments

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including experience with Ex certified components
  • Understanding of ATEX, Ex, and IEC Ex safety standards and compliance
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems, including AC inverters, industrial controllers
