Restaurant General Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage restaurant operations, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the restaurant team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective restaurant operations strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
  • Manage restaurant inventory, including stock levels, ordering, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and overheads.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and drive sales growth.
  • Manage restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
