Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage a variety of financial tasks, including accounts payable and supplier payments, accounts receivable, and banking cash records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing and credit control, to ensure efficient cash flow.
  • Perform and manage banking cash records, payments, and receipts, maintaining accurate records.
  • Recharge costs, assist with monthly journals, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Conduct monthly sales activity reporting using Microsoft Excel, providing valuable insights.
  • Maintain fixed assets and perform depreciation calculations monthly, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Assist with quarterly VAT preparation, supporting the annual preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and the audit process.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Working experience of an SME accountancy package, ideally Sage 50.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Car driver essential due to company location.
