About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the food industry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing robust maintenance strategies to enhance plant reliability and operational capability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure safe plant operations.
  • Resolve plant issues and breakdowns efficiently, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability and product quality.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to develop plant capability and improve overall performance.
  • Participate in capital investment projects, contributing your knowledge and expertise to drive business growth.
  • Mentor and support engineers and technicians, acting as a subject matter expert on plant equipment and technologies.

Requirements

  • A time-served multi-skilled apprenticeship in an engineering discipline is essential.
  • A Level 3 technical certificate and NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline, or HNC, is preferred.
