Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

£42,500 - £47,000 per annum

HUNTER SELECTION is working with a leading manufacturer to find an experienced Maintenance Engineer. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned maintenance inspections and review parts used to minimize downtime
  2. Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, conducting safety checks on various equipment
  3. Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery as required
  4. Generate and maintain compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments
  5. Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non-conformance issues
  6. Work on a range of valves and pumps, supporting production and continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with good engineering standards and practices
  2. Experience in food, packaging, drink, and manufacturing environments
  3. Continuous improvement knowledge and skills
  4. Formal engineering qualification (C&G Level 3 or NVQ Level 3)
