SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding SEND department in a successful primary school in Dagenham.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with children who require additional support to access the curriculum, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

The role will involve a mix of mainstream lessons and designing bespoke learning plans to meet the individual needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support to children with SEND
  • Designing and implementing bespoke learning plans
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
