SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding SEND department in a successful primary school in Dagenham.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who require additional support to access the curriculum, providing individualized support and accommodations to ensure their inclusion in mainstream lessons.

The role will involve a mix of 1:1 support and group work, with opportunities to develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to children with SEND
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans
  • Collaborating with the SEND team to ensure inclusive practices

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
