About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
- Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions.
- Participate in regular supervision and tailored training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical team and help us improve the mental health and well-being of the children we work with.
About You
We are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and be committed to improving the mental health and well-being of the children you work with.
