Energy Procurement Analyst Role

As an Energy Procurement Analyst at the Green Recruitment Company, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless renewal of contracts for our clients' energy supplies and associated services. Your primary objective will be to exceed customer expectations by fostering robust relationships, coupled with a demonstrated track record in negotiating with both suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Renewal of varied portfolio of group customers, contributing to team targets and activity
  2. Consultative sales approach ensuring customer delight by addressing their needs
  3. Matching customer requirements with appropriate product offerings, including cross-selling of related products
  4. Accurate and timely pricing, including producing relevant documentation for signature and providing insights on price, service, and market updates
  5. Managing the acceptance process and supporting the successful registration of supplies (including the objection process)
  6. Promoting, selling, and participating in flexible buying groups where relevant and appropriate
  7. Clear, professional, and effective communication, by telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings
  8. Continuously reviewing your portfolio to identify opportunities, risks, and successes
  9. Maintaining up-to-date records using the appropriate systems and processes, including notice of termination, non-termination fees, and lost records
  10. Demonstrating high retention rates and customer satisfaction scores
  11. Actively identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio
  12. Working in collaboration with the service team and acting as a point of contact for the customer
  13. Complying with updates to company procedures as a result of technology upgrades, process improvements, industry regulations, etc.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Experience working to targets associated with the delivery of your role
  2. Understanding of both gas and electricity supplies and experience working in the industry
  3. Sales experience
  4. Pleasant and confident telephone manner
  5. Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  6. Full UK driving license and a willingness to visit customers and regional offices
  7. Ability to visit customers at short notice
