About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our team in delivering design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal EC&I Engineer in delivering design projects.
  • Work closely with other engineers to manage project schedules.
  • Ensure clarity on EC&I requirements at all levels.
  • Participate in EC&I design reviews and client-facing meetings.
  • Develop technical solutions from customer requirements and initial concepts.
  • Coordinate EC&I activities necessary to provide design solutions.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development in all areas of engineering.
  • Produce project deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
  • Check and provide design feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to company and statutory H&S policies.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum qualification of HNC or equivalent in electrical or control engineering.
  2. Membership of a recognized Engineering Institute.
  3. Incorporated Engineer or working towards.
  4. An understanding of how EC&I aspects fit within complex project environments.
  5. Good understanding of nuclear health and safety and construction regulations.
  6. Experience at all stages of the design lifecycle.
  7. Capability to deliver and check design solutions to required standards.
  8. Knowledge of EC&I systems design, including calculations and EMC assessment.

Salary:

£65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
