About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Prosource. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading a small team and providing operational and project support in an enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the infrastructure team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of infrastructure professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to the infrastructure team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities and projects.
  • Project Management: Manage and deliver infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Service Quality Assurance: Ensure that all infrastructure services are delivered to the required quality standards, meeting the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Capacity Management: Manage the capacity of our infrastructure services, ensuring that they are able to meet the growing demands of our business.
  • Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge management processes, ensuring that our team has access to the information and resources they need to perform their roles effectively.
  • Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of our infrastructure assets, ensuring that they are properly maintained, upgraded, and disposed of as required.
  • Change Management: Manage and implement changes to our infrastructure services, ensuring that they are properly planned, executed, and documented.
  • Vendor Management: Manage our relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers, ensuring that they are providing the required services and support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing infrastructure teams, with a strong background in technical infrastructure support.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong technical skills, with experience in installing, configuring, and supporting infrastructure technologies and products.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Azure, and Active Directory. Experience of working in an ITIL environment, with a strong understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
  • Certifications: Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft, VMware, or other industry-recognized certifications.
