About the Role:

This role will be a key part of ensuring we continue to cultivate a positive and productive work environment at Pasta Evangelists.

  • We are seeking an experienced People Advisor to support our Production site and contribute to achieving our business goals.
  • Key responsibilities will include providing interviewing tips to hiring managers, researching performance evaluation methods, and designing company policies.
  • You will work closely with the Head of People to ensure our People Team nurtures a healthy work environment.
  • Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for People queries and support various People queries throughout the teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and supporting managers on site with people cases to ensure people policies are conducted accurately and adhered to in a timely manner.
  • Supporting with Employee relations, absences, capability, disciplinary, grievance processes, conducting right to work checks for new starters, and managing VISA expiration.
  • Researching and recommending performance evaluation methods, supporting the Head of People with embedding the people policies, and reviewing and updating job descriptions.
  • Training hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques, conducting internal surveys to gather employee feedback, and addressing employee requests and potential issues.
  • Acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members, and supporting with updating our HR systems with employee records.
  • Running our performance review process and engagement surveys, ensuring New starter onboarding has been completed, and building and maintaining our internal people processes.
  • Supporting on important projects that benefit the wider business.
About You:
  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant, or similar role, with a strong understanding of labour legislation.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (HRMS), with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A problem-solving attitude, with 2-5 years' experience in HR, and a CIPD level 3 qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, high growth environment, with an advanced level of excel, word, powerpoint or G Suite.
  • Experience of using planday or similar time and attendance systems, with a can-do, will-do attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • A strong desire to solve issues, and enjoy coaching and motivating team members to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Hugely detail-oriented, with a love for working in a start-up team.
