About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to our residents across various care homes in your region. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care, and you will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to residents across various care homes
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet individual resident needs
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure resident care is meeting their needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. You will have a strong clinical knowledge and a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines and NMC standards. You will also have a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments.

You will be a dedicated and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills, able to lead by example and motivate your team. You will also have a can-do approach and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
