About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide oncology treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals receiving chemotherapy treatments in their homes
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any concerns or issues to healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on chemotherapy treatments and related care
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a community setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
