About the Job

We're seeking a Catering Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted to 15 hours per week. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our catering services, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also benefit from flexible working hours, paid training opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily catering operations, including meal preparation and service
  • Train and supervise staff members to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement menu plans and promotions
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas
