Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife to join our maternity education team. As a Band 6 midwife, you will have the opportunity to bring your expertise and passion for education to our service, supporting the development of staff and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Duties

As a midwife in this role, you will provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and babies, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, supporting the education and training of newly qualified midwives, international recruits, and students.

Requirements

  • Registered Midwife with current UK professional registration
  • SSSA evidence of training and BFI training
  • Desirable criteria: NIPE, NLS, or ALSO equivalent, leadership experience
