EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate to join their team as an Academic Mentor in a secondary school located in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. This long-term, full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for teacher training and the chance to work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As an Academic Mentor, you will be working in a supportive and motivated team, providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEND/SEMH needs and setting achievable targets with individual pupils and small groups. You will also be supporting pupils within the classroom across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with strong academic qualifications, confident, ready-to-learn, and practical, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role provides a brilliant opportunity for teacher training and allows you to gain experience working with children and young people. The salary for this role is £105-£110 per day, making it an attractive option for those looking to pursue a career in education or therapy.
