Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEN Education Specialist to join our successful team at a highly respected SEN school in Barking and Dagenham borough. As an SEN Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students with Special Educational Needs.

You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement individualized learning plans, utilizing various strategies to engage students and promote academic achievement. A strong focus on collaboration, communication, and professionalism is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEND
  • Provide targeted support to students in small group settings or one-on-one
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of support services
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with QTS and/or PGCE
  • UK teaching experience
