Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team in Macclesfield. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for year-end accounts work, supervisory duties, and client liaison.
About the Role
- Prepare and review financial statements for a range of clients across various industries.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Requirements
- Relevant accounting qualifications, such as AAT or ATT, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in a practice environment, preferably in a senior role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary between £28,000 and £36,000, dependent on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including holidays, pension contributions, study support, and staff parking.
- Flexible working hours across a 36-hour working week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
