We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist to join our team at Priory Hospital Preston, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological interventions to support patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychological services to complex and often challenging patients.
As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to develop and deliver tailored treatment plans, facilitating 1:1 sessions and group therapy programs that cater to the diverse needs of our service users.

In return for your dedication and passion, you can expect a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum (FTE), as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality psychological interventions to support patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and preferences of each patient.
- Facilitate 1:1 sessions and group therapy programs, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of key aspects of the service, using data-driven insights to inform practice improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Accreditation with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in treating eating disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based therapies.
