Job Title: Child Psychology Mentor

A supportive and inclusive secondary school in Edware, North London, is seeking a dedicated individual to provide one-to-one support to a student with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SEMH needs and be eager to gain practical experience.

This is a full-time, long-term role in a mainstream secondary school, commencing from January. The successful applicant will work closely with the student, providing tailored support to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working with children aged 11-16 operating classes in various subjects.
  2. Assisting students with special educational needs.
  3. Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology (or closely related subject)
  • Interest in working with children (ideally with SEN/SEMH)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Two professional references
