Clinical Lead in Dementia Care Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead in Dementia Care to join our Specialist Dementia Care Community at a new unit in Glasgow.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a pioneering team in a state-of-the-art environment, focusing on delivering high-quality dementia care.

About the Role:

The Clinical Lead in Dementia Care will be responsible for delivering and coordinating person-centred dementia care and therapeutic interventions. They will work within a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social care, psychology, and wellbeing practitioners.

  • Deliver and coordinate person-centred dementia care and therapeutic interventions
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social care, psychology, and wellbeing practitioners
  • Provide clinical management and leadership within the unit
  • Manage and support staff to ensure high standards of care
  • Implement positive approaches to behaviour and de-escalation interventions
  • Ensure the therapeutic environment meets the needs of residents

The ideal candidate will have an active NMC Pin, at least 2 years of practice experience in a dementia care community, excellent experience in dementia care, and clinical management experience. A salary of up to £23.23 per hour is offered, along with opportunities for professional development in a specialist dementia care setting.
