Corporate Legal Specialist

Wood is seeking a highly motivated and organised Corporate Legal Specialist to join our legal team and support the Legal Entity Rationalisation (LER) activities internationally.

The role will play a key part in the provision of legal services across the Group and business units, assisting the Eastern Hemisphere Legal team and Group Legal team in research and preparing legal documents and advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to the LER team in the closure and reorganisation of legal entities
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and advice
  • Conduct research and analysis to support legal decisions

Requirements:

  • Legal, Legal Executive or Paralegal qualification necessary
  • Paralegal experience as a corporate and/or securities paralegal or specialist at either a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Experience in a variety of general domestic and international corporate legal matters, M&A transactions, commercial contracts, corporate governance
  • English language fluency
  • Microsoft office, excel and powerpoint proficient

  • Changing regulatory environment

Working Arrangements:

  • Able to work autonomously
  • Working with external counsel and service providers
